In recent years, traveling in the virtual world has become very popular. The fact that various films such as 3D, 7D, 8D are also being produced is a clear proof of our opinion. Of course, the fact that such processes take place in front of your eyes makes a person forget all his worries and plunge into his world. As a result, for a long time, the images of the heroes of the film are embodied in our eyes and imprinted in our memory. Now imagine that the subjects in the learning process come to life… And you are in the learning process. Are you interested? Azizbek Khaitov, the head of the preparatory department of the Tashkent University of Information Technology named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, who put forward such an idea during the Innoweek week, interested us in his project.
– We are participating in Innoweek week with our “virtual world” laboratory. The virtual world laboratory is made of Arduino Uno board, the basis of robotics. It has 8 laboratories designed to perform the work process. Naturally, theoretical and practical knowledge should always be carried together. However, unfortunately, we often lag behind in the application of practical knowledge in the educational process. We do not have the opportunity to show our students what the necessary equipment and technical products look like. Let’s say we have limited access to devices that cost $ 100,000 and more.
This is the main purpose of moving to the virtual world. In the future, we plan to transfer $ 100,000 worth of devices to the virtual world so that our students can become integrated into production. They will be able to easily see which device the company is currently using and become a professional ready to use that device.
In our country, which is moving forward in development, early owners should not be left “inside” the book with old devices. In the 21st century, technology is changing day by day. If we create these technologies in the virtual world, a student can learn them perfectly in a year. As a result, he will be able to work comfortably in the future company.
I thought a lot about creating a virtual world lab. I came to the conclusion that if an unusual method is introduced into the educational process, students will be able to master the subjects better. I think I have achieved my goal.
In cooperation with the Medical University, we have submitted projects for the development of human anatomy in the virtual world to the Ministry of Innovative Development. In general, such a virtual world laboratory can be used in all disciplines. For example, history. The student will have a realistic view of historical processes. It is stored in the memory for a long time only when a person sees and hears it with his ears. For example, how would you feel if you appeared in the virtual world of Amir Timur’s “Battle of Clay”? After all, in the 21st century, nothing should be impossible in terms of technology. Isn’t that so?
