
A video conference was held under the leadership of the Deputy Minister of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Azimjon Nazarov and Chairman of the Agency for Innovation and Technology of Georgia Avtandil Kasradze.
In course of the meeting, the Georgian side got acquainted with the activities of the Research and Practical Center for Implementation of Innovative Developments under the Innovative Technology park of “Yashnabad”; the parties discussed the issues on the development and implementation of innovative concepts, projects and technologies, encouraging innovative activism of scientists and entrepreneurs, strengthening the integration of education and science. Following the results of the videoconference, the parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Innovative Development and the Agency for Technologies of Georgia.
The signed Memorandum of Understanding implies that upon the mutual agreement, the parties will organize exhibitions of innovative developments, scientific and practical conferences, seminars and acceleration programs. A roadmap for practical cooperation in the field of artificial intellect, agriculture, power supply, transport, tourism, entrepreneurship and healthcare will be developed.
