The Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a meeting with the representative of the United Nations Development Program in Uzbekistan Matilda Dimovskaya. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Minister of Innovative Development Azimjon Nazarov.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the implementation of the draft Concept “Aral Sea – a zone of environmental innovations and technologies”, developed by a working group formed with representatives of ministries and departments of the republic in cooperation with the UN Development Program and international organizations.

М. Dimovskaya noted that addressing problems concerning the Aral Sea region and the development of the region are on the list of issues of close attention of the UN Development Program, and expressed readiness to implement other projects jointly with the Ministry of Innovative Development.

The parties touched upon the issues of cooperation in developing a draft concept for the future activities of the Ministry of Innovative Development.

Following the meeting, M. Dimovskaya toured the new building of the ministry and got acquainted with the conditions created for young scientists and researchers, representatives of startups and employees of the ministry.
